Now days it is a common practice to attract the people who are aware of the low calorie diets or health consciousness. We see at the back of many yogurts, ice creams, fruit cock tails, beverages, biscuits etc that they are low sugar foods. Now the point is how these all products have low sugar instead they all are sweet in taste.
In a marketplace it is supplementary health know-how, sugar alcohols such as xylitol, sorbitol and mannitol. These are commonly being used in foods to reinstate sugar and artificial sweeteners.
These sugar alcohols
provide similar taste of the sugar but they do not offer bitter taste and health

the market. These alcohols are less in sugar and hey do not act as a common
sugar drink in our body.
We can say that the drink you are in taking as a sugar free alcohol is not the truth but if we say it technically so it is true to the extent that it does not affect our body sugar level. The low sugar alcohol also reduces the impact of the food on our body. So that is why many diet plans and dietary products offer to use the less sugar alcohols.
There is another important issue. Basically alcohols are the drinks that are made up by using ethanol in them. These alcohols falls in three types, the first is the wine. Second is beer and the third one is spirits.
The ethanol is the
fermentation form of the sugar which is the base of the sugar. It has energy
content of seven per grams. Every alcohol drink is based on the high sugar
level. But some alcohols are less sugary than others. For example the dry wine
is less in sugar than a sweet wine. Vodka, whisky and rum have no sugar contents
as other drinks are added up by more sugar at the distillation levels. Beer is
usually less in ethanol but it is high in sugar from the other contents.
We can
not say that alcohol drinks have no sugar because the fermentation and molasses
process can not built up without sugar. So they always have sugar in them. But
we can say that there are drinks that have less sugar. Brandy on it owns have no
sugar but sugar syrup is added at the further stage to make it sweeter. So if
you are on diet or you are diabetic so try to drink just a glass or two per day
but the one which contains less sugar.
